The Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental is a gracious,

pronounced the Mark Hopkins architecturally perfect when it was
built in 1926. The 19-story hotel is a combination of French chateau
and Spanish Renaissance styles, embellished with elaborate terra
cotta ornamentation. The hotel's central location in this compact
city makes it convenient to most area attractions. Just step right
outside the front door to ride one of San Francisco's fabled cable
cars.
The guest rooms are newly renovated and decorated in rich, warm
colors. All are elegantly appointed with abundant amenities. The
hotel has three onsite restaurants, including the famous "Top
of the Mark" bar and restaurant, which offers fantastic views
of the city and the bay. The hotel is minutes to fine dining,
shopping and entertainment. Note: Please be advised that the Mark
